We’re the original Backyard Axe Throwing League (BATL). Our mission is to show people the power of being good to each other, using the axe as a tool to build community inspired by our backyard roots.
We offer a uniquely casual urban venue to experience the thrill of axe throwing in leagues, walk-ins and private events such as parties and team building. In the past 10 years BATL’s been covered extensively by local, regional and national press; growing from our original backyard roots to today operating eight locations across Canada, including Calgary, Kitchener-Waterloo, London, Ottawa, Pickering and Toronto.
